Work Flow Process Manager
Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ
Duration: 5 - 6 Months
Visa: GC or USC
This resource will design and implement operational procedures and automation for all activities and transaction required to conduct business for the Auto and WC lines. This professional will work closely with leadership, IT, regulatory, and operations to understand current workflow processes, identify gaps, and recommend/implement solutions that focus on improving process automation while adhering to regulatory requirements. The Process/Automation Manager will be responsible for developing and managing IT business requirements across multiple IT platforms from start to finish.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop and document all operational and underwriting processes for the Auto line of business.
o Responsible for the designing, writing, updating and documenting of workflows as a result of system/product changes, new strategic initiatives, or as a result of specific for all assigned projects.
o Responsible for identifying, documenting and communicating impact to operations roles, while ensuring the most efficient process is established to support business work efforts.
o Responsible for creating, reviewing, and analyzing business requirements documentation for potential process changes; assisting in the development of and for translating these requirements into workflow, role/responsibility and/or procedural changes, while considering the processing impact of those changes.
o Responsible for the development and documentation of training and field communication content. This includes updating of previously developed communication/training tools.
• Design and build IT requirements for process automation in the new Auto Policy Admin system
o Acts as SME in the development of business requirements regarding process/workflow design components, coordinating across support with Commercial Operations, Learning & Development, Billing, etc.
o Maintains up-to-date inventory of information relative to assigned systems and/or areas of responsibility
• Work with Compliance to ensure that all regulatory processes are followed appropriately
o Participates in the deployment process by coordinating and/or developing and providing testing, training, workflow and procedural materials according to established deadlines
• Monitor workflow management and continuously seek to identify gaps in efficiencies and processing turnaround times.
o Analyzes and resolves escalated problems, coordinating associated activity through various areas if needed, and providing timely and accurate updates to stakeholders.
o Analyze trends related to Operations systems/workflows, recommends action steps and facilitates needed improvements. Develops training/procedural content to address knowledge and/or procedural gaps.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Management, or Engineering
• Ideal candidate with have 5+ years of experience with process implementation and workflow automation within the insurance industry
• Candidate should have prior experience developing business and IT requirements for system changes
