Position:
Donor Care Representative's work call assignments for the purpose of gaining commitment to support Your Blood Institute's lifesaving mission while always providing accurate information and maintaining records, documenting outcomes, appointments & all donor communications.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pleasant voice and professional manner required
- 1 year previous experience in sales, customer service or telemarketing position preferred
- Ability to effectively follow scripts or talking points to communicate community blood needs
- Strong listening skills
- Good proofing & reviewing ability
- Possess the desire to have a positive impact on the lives of others
- Google Chrome, MS Office experience
Primary Responsibilities:
Call specially selected past blood donors to gain commitment for future donation to assure community type specific blood needs will be met. Schedule donation appointments. Appropriately route questions to guarantee accurate information is provided. Record information in a neat, accurate and timely manner. Consistently maintain a high quality of customer service, possessing a positive attitude and appropriate follow-up with donors. Maintain confidentiality with all medical and other private donor, client, and business information. Maintain and update donor files through accurate data entry. Comply with all applicable compliance and safety directives and regulations. Be enthusiastic and active in support of the organization's mission to be the donor-to-patient lifeline; providing our communities and medical partners security by meeting transfusion and health care needs.
