Data Connects Us. **About the Role:** The Finance Systems BSA will be an integral part of the Confluent Finance Systems group. The primary responsibilities will involve supporting and enhancing compensation systems at Confluent. This includes day-to-day administration, maintaining data integrity and compliance, and managing enhancements to compensation systems, particularly focusing on payroll applications. The individual will ensure all operational SLAs are met and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. They will collaborate closely with finance, people operations, and commissions users globally. A thorough understanding of the payroll cycle and systems (e.g WD Payroll or similar) and related audit requirements is essential for success in this role. Additionally, strong knowledge of commission systems will be beneficial. The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. This role offers the freedom to exercise creativity and problem-solving skills while contributing to Confluent's growth. **What You Will Do:** + **System Implementation and Optimization:** Drive the implementation and optimization of Confluent's payroll systems (WD Payroll, INTL Payroll) and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. + **Requirements Gathering and Solution Design:** Collaborate with business users to gather comprehensive requirements and develop sophisticated system-based solutions. + **System Support and Maintenance:** Provide ongoing support and maintenance for payroll (primary) and commission systems, including effective troubleshooting and issue resolution. + **Implementation Leadership:** Lead or support the implementation of payroll and commission compensation systems, encompassing configuration, rigorous testing, and deployment. + **Change Control Adherence:** Ensure strict adherence to procedures, processes, and change controls for all production changes and implementations. + **Audit Reporting:** Develop and deliver audit reports to the internal controls team and external auditors as required. + **Documentation Maintenance:** Maintain clear and detailed documentation on new features, enhancements, configurations, and customizations. **What You Will Bring:** + Minimum of 3-5 years as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on payroll systems and processes. Experience with commissions systems is nice to have. + Proficiency with payroll and commission software such as Workday Payroll, ADP, CloudPay or similar platforms. + Proven experience in directly collaborating with users to gather requirements and develop effective solutions. + Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. + In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, audit requirements, and best practices. + Experience with commission systems like XACTLY will be an advantage. + Exposure to agile process and project management methodologies, tools and processes. **Come As You Are** At Confluent, equality is a core tenet of our culture. This position has an annual estimated salary of $100,320- $117,880, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
