Workday Functional HRIS Analyst - Easterseals Southern California

Overview

Job Summary:

The Workday HRIS Analyst is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the Workday HCM platform. This role collaborates with HR, IT, and other business stakeholders to ensure the effective use of the system, including implementation of updates, reporting, and troubleshooting.

Starting Salary Range: $74k - $92k

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• System Configuration & Maintenance:
• Manage and configure the Workday HCM ecosystem based on business requirements.
• Perform routine audits and checks to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Implement system upgrades, enhancements, and custom configurations.
• Reporting & Data Analysis:
• Develop, maintain, and deliver reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR and business stakeholders.
• Provide insights into HR metrics and workforce trends using Workday’s analytics tools.
• User Support & Training:
• Act as the primary point of contact for Workday-related questions and troubleshooting.
• Provide training and support to HR staff and other users of the system.
• Create user documentation and guides for new features or changes.
• Project Management:
• Collaborate with internal teams for Workday-related projects, including new module implementation, system upgrades, and process improvements.
• Ensure timelines and deliverables are met for system-related projects.
• Compliance & Security:
• Ensure the system adheres to company policies, regulations, and legal requirements regarding data privacy and security.
• Manage user access and permissions within the Workday platform.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources or relateddiscipline, or equivilant relevant work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

• 4+ years in HR systems support; or a combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience toeffectively perform the core responsibilities of the position.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Performance.
• Project management experience, especially with HCM implementation or upgrades.
• Advanced Excel skills or experience with data visualization tools.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Demonstrated understanding of HR and Payroll processes and terminology, report writing, query writing,data analysis, and HCM systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; proficient in HCM systems, processes and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present findings and translate data into an understandabledocument; must be able to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
• Strong customer-service orientation; demonstrated ability to work well and collaborate with all levels ofthe organization.
• Ability to prioritize and maintain flexibility while handling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
• Ability to exercise a high level of discretion in handling confidential data and information.
• Ability to remain highly focused with strong attention to detail; vigilant in data analysis to arrive at correctconclusions.
• Strong critical thinking with the ability to review numbers, trends, and data and suggest changes based onthe findings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice andFederal Bureau of Investigation per Easterseals Southern California and/or program requirements.
