Base salary range: $110,745.54 - $124,141.67
Role Overview:
The Senior HRIS Analyst will provide technical expertise and support for the HRIS platform, specializing in a specific HRIS module while maintaining strong working knowledge of all other modules. This role involves managing technical HRIS tasks, including designing enhancements, user accessibility, content updates, and quality clean-up. The Senior HRIS Analyst will collaborate closely with HR Functional Analysts to understand user requirements, identify configuration and data changes, and drive improvements to the HRIS experience. This role is critical for advancing our vision and upholding our culture and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert support for a designated Workday module, including end-to-end management of testing, configuration, enhancements, and integrations.
- Collaboration: Work with HR Functional Analysts to understand user needs and configure systems to enhance the user experience and streamline HR processes.
- Process Improvement: Develop and apply Human Centered Design (HCD) methodologies to deliver sustainable business process solutions. Engage in standard business analysis to identify opportunities and improve processes.
- Documentation: Produce high-quality project analysis documentation, including business requirements, scope matrices, use cases, future state proposals, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans.
- Risk Management: Proactively mitigate risks, support the release management process, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Production Support: Apply problem-solving techniques to provide Workday production support. Lead or support complex system enhancement projects, including technical expertise, testing, and functionality verification.
- Data Management: Perform mass data updates, exports, imports, and clean-ups. Translate technical information into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze HR systems performance metrics, enhancement requests, and application issues. Stay current with Workday enhancements and industry trends.
- Innovation: Seek opportunities for innovation and system functionality improvements by continuously developing skills and knowledge.
- Relationship Building: Develop trusting, credible relationships based on ethical judgment and confidentiality. Foster an inclusive environment and adhere to ethical standards.
- Strategic Alignment: Contribute to achieving strategic goals and demonstrate alignment with organizational and HR strategic plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Advanced degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Seven or more years of experience in information technology, HRIS administration, or data analytics, with a strong background in Workday HCM.
- Higher Education Experience: Experience in a higher education setting is preferred.
- Data Analysis: Experience in identifying workforce trends and making strategic recommendations based on data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information in a business-oriented manner to diverse audiences.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM, including HR business processes (e.g., benefits, performance/talent, recruiting).
- Proven experience in generating Workday reports and understanding Workday HCM concepts (e.g., position management, organizations, hierarchy).
- Experience developing test strategies, using analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management: Ability to lead and manage small- to medium-sized projects, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
- Collaboration: Experience facilitating collaboration across various stakeholders and driving consensus.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with large, complex systems.
Compensation:
- The annual base salary range for this position is $110,745.54 - $124,141.67. Salary will be determined based on factors such as job scope, candidate experience, education, internal equity, and market conditions.
