Summary:
The Workday Technical Applications Leader will manage Workday’s technical suite of applications inclusive of integrations, report writing and report administration, Prism, Workday analytics, Discovery Boards, and Worksheets, and Extend.
This role will be responsible for a team of integration analysts/developers, report writers and will serve as the subject matter expert for the technical Workday team. Primary responsibilities include the design, configuration and maintenance of integrations, development of reports and dashboards, integration and orchestration of PRISM datasets, Worksheets, and Discovery Boards, and Extend. Partnering with other Workday application leaders, this role will govern and lead the Workday application in a team environment. This role reports directly to the Director of Workday Applications and will collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the Rush system.

Other information:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Healthcare or higher education experience preferably with healthcare provider system
• 5 Years applications experience
• 2 years of Workday experience specifically working in Workday applications as a technical lead or similar environment
• Demonstrable successful ERP implementation project and optimization experience in HCM, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Skilled technical acumen in report writing and integration development report writer.
• Working knowledge of web services, XSLT, X-PATH and X-Query
• Skilled in either JAVA, Microsoft languages, or Python programming languages
• Workday certifications desirable or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
• Lead architect of the implementation and ongoing management of third-party integrations, reports and dashboards, PRISM, Worksheets and Discover Board, and Extend applications.
• Collaborate with HR, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Research and Technical teams to gather requirements and design solutions that bring value to RUSH.
• Proactive management of system stability, performance, and security, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
• Provides input to deliver the best possible outcomes with technical design to maximize the use of Workday functionalities.
• Manage vendor relationships for third-party application integration and coordinate with external consultants as needed.
• Stay current with Workday updates and industry best practices to continuously improve HR and payroll processes
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Workday technical analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Accountable for team performance with adhering to policy regarding management of technical artifacts including technical design documents, testing documentation, and following a defined application Change Control procedure.
• Coordinate and ensure proper change control processes are followed.
• Shared responsibility with other Workday application leads for the application management of Workday.
