Workers' Compensation Attorney
Location: CALIFORNIA - FULLY REMOTE
Overview:
Our client, a leading Workers’ Compensation defense law firm, is seeking Senior and Associate Attorneys with a minimum of 1 years of experience in workers' compensation (either plaintiff or defense) for a remote position. California residency and a valid CA Bar license are required.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: $120,000 - $210,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
- Advocate on behalf of insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers.
- Prepare and manage correspondence to clients.
- Draft pleadings and negotiate settlements on workers' compensation cases.
- Attend court appearances, manage calendars, and conduct depositions and cross-examinations of medical professionals.
- Negotiate lien claims and perform proactive case management.
- Mentor and oversee legal assistants to ensure effective case support.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Participate in marketing events with both new and existing clients.
- Review and manage case files, inputting information into PracticeMaster and billing software.
- Meet deadlines for client correspondence and participate in client file reviews.
- Conduct training seminars for clients on evolving workers' compensation case law.
- Stay current on developments in workers' compensation law.
