Are you passionate about supporting a diverse community of students? Join RTC as a WorkFirst Service Delivery Coordinator. This is a full-time, exempt position and reports directly to the Director of Workforce Education. The WorkFirst Service Delivery Coordinator provides assistance in establishing and maintaining eligibility for Workforce funding and federal financial aid to students from a wide variety of cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. The primary responsibility is to assist WorkFirst students and to complete the necessary paperwork between the various state agencies and the college as it pertains to each students training plan. Other responsibilities include serving as a liaison representing the Renton Technical College (RTC) WorkFirst program to DSHS, Employment Security Department, Department of Commerce contractors and other local WorkFirst partners. This employee will implement a quarterly educational engagement plan, providing onsite RTC CSO information keeping DSHS case managers informed about training opportunities for WorkFirst students at RTC and collaborating with case managers to assess educational readiness of WorkFirst clients, develop client training plans and facilitate referrals to RTC programs. This position will collaborate with WorkFirst team members to document outcomes of engagement strategies on a quarterly basis and provide input into RTC WorkFirst Delivery Plan and reports, and to coordinate participation in the Work Study program.
The pay range for this exempt position is $80,000 to $89,386.07 annually. Annual continuation of this position is contingent on special funding. The priority consideration date for this position will be October 25, 2024 and will remain open until filled.
