The Workforce Planning Analyst role is a newly created position that will support a critical need at KinderCare Learning Companies - analyzing, forecasting, and planning workforce supply and demand, assessing gaps, and implementing solution strategies to meet the business needs of the organization. In this role, you will analyze people data of the evolving workforce landscape; collaborate with business partners to understand future business needs; and calculate and visualize various workforce roadmaps taking us from current to future state.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth workforce analysis on current staff, considering factors such as current workforce landscape, skills and capabilities, organizational designs, attrition rates, demographics, and future needs.
- Research and analyze industry trends, labor market trends, and future workforce needs based on business strategy.
- Analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern.
- Support the development of strategic workforce plans to address current and future workforce challenges. Propose actionable strategies for talent acquisition, development, and retention.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to understand each department's specific workforce needs and challenges. Partner with other HR teams (Talent Acquisition, Talent Investment and Culture, Compensation & Benefits) to ensure overall alignment of strategies.
- Support HR Business Partners in the implementation stage through thoughtful orchestration of efforts and project management solutions. Provide additional data analysis for continuous course correction and alignment.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to visualize workforce metrics for senior leadership.
- Audit and evaluate the effectiveness of the workforce strategies and initiatives.
- Keep updated with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies in workforce planning. Recommend improvements to workforce planning processes and techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other data analytics and visualization tools.
- Experience in working with multiple data sources and combining relevant information to generate insights from analyses.
