Position Summary
The Workshop Coordinator (part-time) provides administrative and facilities support to the Triumph Workshop team. In addition, this role will be customer facing with frequent interactions with our volunteers, members, and other guests.
This position will support Triumph Workshops team members to ensure goals are being met in strategic areas:
Increase career exploration opportunities for youth
Expand workforce development opportunities for adults
Provide greater access to maker-related education at Triumph Workshop
Improve Triumph Workshops membership experience
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Excellent interpersonal skills, our Workshop Coordinator must work well in a collaborative environment.
Proactively maintain inventory of the facility to include the product store, breakroom supplies, and other consumables.
Ensure class resources are available & class supplies are on hand.
Complete Expense reports.
Coordinate outside contractors/maintenance personnel as needed.
Collaborate with team members to continuously improve customer service initiatives.
Provide support on Workshop events such as Youth Maker Nights, Forge the Future, school field trips, and corporate events.
Greeting all members/volunteers/guests with a smile and an engaging personality and provide quality customer service in a professional manner.
Monitor email account and provide accurate, timely, and efficient responses to inquiries.
Answer/return phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
Conduct tours of the facility to new members/guests.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Education Requirements
1 - 2 years of prior customer service, administrative support, or office management experience.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Skills & Abilities Required
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to build rapport quickly with adults and youth.
Team player that can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, without close supervision.
Well-developed organizational skills.
Strong work ethic and personal integrity.
Creative and self-driven to accomplish goals.
Spanish fluency preferred.
Work Environment
