Wound Nurse (RN) - Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is located just outside of Albany in East Greenbush, NY and we are looking for an experienced Wound Nurse. The chosen candidate will be energetic and demonstrate great leadership qualities. The Wound Nurse will be responsible to complete weekly wound rounds with the Provider and complete required documentation as well as scheduled meetings. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will build repor with other clinical and support team members in a holistic care appraoch. 

• The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a Long Term Care setting.

• The ideal candidate will have completed the 19.3 hours CDC Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training Course. This is not required however preferred.

• Coordinates and directs the total planning for nursing services to meet the needs of all residents.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current New York RN unencumbered license required

• Excellent Communication Skills required

• Evidence of great leadership skills

• Comfortable with computer systems and electronic documentation
