About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Pediatric Wound Care **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 3x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) - Monday, Wednesday, Friday **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** 2+ years of recent pediatric wound care experience **License:** Must have a valid state license prior to the start date **Certifications:** BLS **Must-Have:** COVID-19 vaccine and booster (no exemptions), current booster **Job Description:** - Provides acute management to patients with burn injuries. - Follows patients through healing, as well as long-term care with scar formation and treatment. - Evaluates trauma patients post-hospital discharge through clinic follow-up. - Works within a team staffed with nurse practitioners and has access to burn/trauma surgeons for backup. - Utilizes Cerner for charting and documentation. - Compliance with child-friendly scrub colors and no visible logos. - Adheres to non-smoking policy with zero tolerance. - Engages in pre-start modules, not billable, with a minimum of 20 hours to be completed prior to orientation. - Must be prepared to submit a recent photo according to the specified guidelines if offered and accepted.
