About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to provide thought leadership and planning discipline, and drive rapid business execution across the Worldwide Public Sector National Security and Defense Business Operations team. They will bring a unique balance of leadership, strategic thinking, cross-group collaboration, influence, and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be able to manage complex programs across a matrixed environment, with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business. This role works directly with internal teams, including sales, technology enablement, engineering, data analytics, security, marketing, legal, and finance, and the ideal candidate will foster strong partnerships and collaboration to deliver business-critical solutions and drive prioritization and execution of shared goals.
This role is also responsible for scoping and managing continuous improvement and automation initiatives and plays a significant role in developing, driving and managing scalable, data-driven processes. This is a hands-on position - the ideal candidate must be willing to "roll up their sleeves" and get things done. The candidate will be in a senior, highly visible role and must thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and be eligible to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Key job responsibilities
-Partner with technology enablement, product development, engineering, security and other internal AWS teams to manage business requirements for large-scale, complex sales applications and reporting products, and guide deployments of new functionality
-Lead project planning, mechanism design, and execution of initiatives to drive operational excellence and long-term scale across multiple domains, such as access control, vulnerability management, master data architecture management, project intake, scoring models, and request prioritization
-Design and execute continuous improvement of tools, processes and analytics for project and portfolio management
-Influence technology development and decisions for tools used to enable NSD sales teams
-Manage program execution end-to-end, ensuring effective and on-time delivery

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with sales CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau)
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- U.S. Citizenship
- 3+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 2+ years of experience using business intelligence tools to develop data and dashboards (e.g., Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI, QlikView)
- Ability to write and debug SQL queries
- Experience in creating and presenting executive-level analyses and narratives to drive decision-making
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with the US DoD and/or NatSec customer environments
- Experience working within a high-growth, fast-paced technology company
- MBA or Master's degree in relevant field
- Active US Govt TS/SCI security clearance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with sales CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau)
