Yard Jockey - Classet

AdeptHR is hiring for immediate Jockey Operator / 'Yard Jockey' Openings!

A jockey operator, also known as a yard jockey, is a driver who moves trailers around the warehouse. Their responsibilities include: 

• Trailer movement: moving trailers to and from loading docks, and or other locations
• Trailer organization: organizing trailers for loading, unloading etc.
• Shipping documentation: Maintaining shipping documents, filling out delivery forms, and verifying shipping documents 
• Communication: Communicating with the gate, dock office, and management 
• Yard upkeep: Keeping the yard organized and performing yard checks 
• Forklift operation: May operate a forklift to load or unload trailers 

Starting pay of $18 per hour, with room for growth and overtime opportunities!

Requirements

• 12 months of previous jockey operator experience
• Valid MVR
• Valid Drivers’ license
• Willingness to submit to a drug screen in accordance with our policy
• Willingness to release background information inclusive of criminal records
• Willingness to assist in the warehouse if need be: loading, unloading
