What You Will Be Doing:
As the Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers get the best quality products by observing and recording. You will ensure all products fit Yancey standards, UL 142/2200, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop action plans to address any identified issues.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and areas of concern and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality control records.
- Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Conduct training sessions to educate employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformances, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by promoting quality awareness and encouraging employee involvement in quality initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance and regulatory requirements, and ensure adherence to these changes.
Education/Experience:
- The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
- Quality Control Inspection experience required.
- Certified Quality Auditor preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
Environmental Job Requirements:
Environment:
- Most of your time is spent in an office environment.
- Occasionally work in extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and ice.
Physical:
- Minimal bending, stooping, kneeling, or lifting involved.
Travel:
- Typically requires travel 10% to 20% of the time.
