About the Job
Looking for a youth basketball coach to help lead a group of young kids. You will lead kids in skills, drills and fundamentals and ultimately, creating a fun space where kids can grow and create memories.
Kids Ages: 6-14 years old
Locations: Manhattan and Brooklyn
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, most times from 3-9pm
- Saturday and Sunday from 9-2pm
Job description: Looking for experienced individuals to teach youth sports classes and camps. Candidate must possess a high energy, positive approach with a genuine desire to impact young children’s lives through sports. Pay will be commensurate with experience and any existing credentials from sanctioned governing bodies of sports or nationally accredited institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Incorporate new techniques into practice sessions.
- Coach players on basketball.
- Evaluate players' performances.
- Strengthen players' skills on and off the court
- Mentor young players.
Ideal coach: On time, engage with the kids, follow instructions, checking in students, timely, be able to control the class, be fun.
