About the Job
The YMCA of Greater Richmond is looking for a Youth Development Center Director to serve as a positive role model and who will plan programming, oversee center management and supervise children at our child care sites at Winterpock Elementary School in Chesterfield County.

Duties:
Responsibilities include development and implementation of engaging youth development programs, supervision of a group of school age children, and day-to-day operations of a school age child care center. Seasonal responsibilities include high quality day camp programming: including planning, parent communication, and staff development and oversight.
Qualifications:
- Experience with supervising staff, budgeting and program administration
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Candidates must meet Virginia DSS licensing requirements: college-level coursework in a related field or CDA required
- Minimum age is 21
- Candidates must be responsible, enthusiastic, and able to direct children and staff in a positive way
- Experience in leading groups of school-aged youth
Salary: $38-$40,000 with benefits
