Family Services cares for individuals who are isolated, abandoned or just need help developing the skills to live successfully.
Our Residential Program is recruiting a 30-hour per week Youth Development Specialist to work in our live-in treatment program for youth. Duties include working with youth who need caring adults to help them learn new skills to manage their feelings, make positive decisions, learn responsibility and develop healthy relationships. You will work with youth individually and in small group settings teaching social skills, positive coping skills and positive recreation and leisure activities. In addition, you will ensure safety by providing excellent supervision and crisis management.
This position is an overnight position with the hours of Sunday, Monday & Tuesday 11p-9a.

Qualified applicants should possess a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED. A Bachelor's Degree in the Human service area &/or relevant experience working with adolescents is preferred. Training is provided. This position is benefits eligible, including health insurance.
