Job Description:
The Pointe Church of Antelope is looking for a part time Youth Director! A perfect opportunity to join a great team, perhaps learn the ropes of youth ministry and use your giftings to touch the lives of teens. It's part time for now... about 6-10 hours a week.
Most of our pastoral team are bi-vocational. The Pointe is a vibrant church, growing, thriving, and in need of a shepherd of teens. We're looking for a great big-brother type or a young spiritual father type. Our lead pastor was a youth director for 30 years himself, and is committed to making this a great experience for the right person that God brings along! You'll be ingrafted into a well established leadership team that is ripe and ready for a fresh voice on the team. You may visit our church website at www.ThePointe.net
- Sunday morning. Teens dismissed just after worship to their own class. Have 7-10 minute message, prayer ready to go. 3 hours a week.
- Wednesday Night, Teen Small Group. Growth comes later. 3 hours per week
- Ability to recruit and manage volunteers. We have a few in place, but need a point person, a teen magnet leader. 1-2 hours a week.
- Ability to follow up, make calls, maintain records and teen data.
- Ability to inspire teens, hang, know the culture.
- Occasional events.
- Reports directly to the Lead Pastor;relates to the rest of the pastoral team.
- Antelope is located just north of Sacramento, near Fair Oaks, Elverta, Citrus Heights.

The Pointe is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player who has a PASSION for working with students. Our Youth Director / Pastor to Students and Families will have the primary responsibility of overseeing the student ministry (6th-12th grade) through nurturing, discipling, and building relationships with students and their families. We are looking for someone eager to mentor older teens and empower others to do so as well. It's part time, so if you're beginning your youth ministry journey or working full time but desire to be a part of a healthy ministry team, you are encouraged to apply and begin the conversation.
