Youth Mentor Supervisor - Clarvida

About this role

As a Family Support Youth Mentor Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising case management and Youth Mentor staff, clients, and families participating in services. The supervision is provided on an individual and group bases weekly and as needed. The job will entail completing risk and safety assessments, progress notes, service plans, quarterly reports, discharge reports and all other program required documentation clearly, accurately, and within required timeframes. Provides supervision of service entry and orientation processes and for the development of treatment plans which include establishment of goals, objectives, and activities to achieve goals, assigning responsibility for specific goals; and determining treatment modality. Will monitor and implement the Continuous Quality Improvement process. Formulates and evaluates on a continuous basis the policies, goals, and standards of the program; develops methods and mechanisms for the evaluation of the overall effectiveness of the service delivery system and the program. Provides court testimony for purposes of child placement. Adheres to all COA standards and participates in PQI initiatives and COA preparedness.

Does the following apply to you?

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of Associate’s degree preferably in psychology, child development, family studies, or other related field with 3 or more years of experience working with children and families

Preferred but not required:

• Experience working with directly with children and families, providing services involving case management, knowledge of child development, motivational interviewing techniques, and family systems
