As the Site Lead, you'll be at the heart of our mission, working closely with the Youth Enrichment Program Coordinator to bring our programs to life. Your work will ensure that our Modern Apprenticeship Program (MAP) and youth services are impactful and transformative. From daily operations to mentorship, your contributions will help foster a supportive and enriching environment for our participants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Coordination & Curriculum Implementation:
- Partner with the Youth Enrichment Program Coordinator to deliver seamless program execution.
- Oversee daily site operations, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for youth participants.
- Lead educational, career exploration, and professional development activities.
- Implement curricula and programs designed for youth development and 2 Gen outcomes.
2. Team Leadership:
- Guide and support site staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Promote effective communication and teamwork among staff.
3. Student Recruitment:
- Drive the recruitment of students for the Inspiring Indianapolis Youth Program.
- Collaborate with school counselors, social workers, liaisons, and community partners to identify potential participants.
4. Modern Apprenticeship Program (MAP):
- Mentor high school apprentices, providing professional guidance and support.
- Create a nurturing environment for apprentices to develop essential skills and achieve their career goals.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of apprentices.
5. School Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school staff.
- Work with teachers and administrators to enhance program offerings.
6. Community Engagement:
- Participate in meetings with INSPIRE program staff and community organizations.
- Collaborate with potential new resource partners to enhance program operations.
7. Reporting and Documentation:
- Ensure timely completion of client outcome reporting as required by funding sources.
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, attendance, and participant progress.
Skills & Experience:
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Experience or training in early childhood education preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in paperwork and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Eligibility to work in the United States (I-9 documentation).
- Valid Indiana Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check and adhere to all LCFS Employee Policies, including maintaining a drug-free workplace.
Working Environment:
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- On-site presence required at various community partner locations.
- Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, 10 am – 6 pm.
