The primary responsibilities for the Youth and Young Adults Ministry Director are to create an environment where Students and Young Adults grow closer to Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all aspects of the youth ministry, including weekly gatherings, Bible studies, retreats, and special events.
Strategize and build a Young adults ministry, through small groups events and Sunday engagement.
Recruit, train, and equip volunteers to assist with various aspects of the ministry.
Foster a safe environment where people feel valued, accepted, and can freely express their faith
Mentor and provide pastoral care, offering guidance, support, and a listening ear.
Collaborate with other church staff and leaders to align each ministry with the overall vision and mission of Motor City Church.
Partner with parents to support and encourage their involvement in the spiritual development of their youth.
Coordinate outreach initiatives and service opportunities that engage youth and young adults in making a difference in the community.
Stay current with trends and issues affecting the culture to effectively minister to needs.
Willingly assume responsibility for the performance of other duties and projects, as assigned by the Senior Pastor or Campus Pastor
Requirements
A genuine love for youth and a heart for ministry.
A strong commitment to personal spiritual growth and discipleship.
A humble, teachable spirit and a willingness to learn and expand your mindset
Pastoral experience and a deep understanding of youth ministry principles and practices.
A bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (preferred).
Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young people.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with youth and their families.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
Proficiency in organizing and coordinating events and programs.
