About the Job
Overview: Our client, a growing family-owned business, specializes in low volume production and specialty prototype manufacturing. They are seeking a skilled Zeiss CMM Programmer to ensure precision and quality in their advanced manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Program and operate Zeiss CMM for part measurements.
- Design and implement inspection programs for new and existing products.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Troubleshoot and modify existing programs as needed.
- Provide technical training to team members on CMM operations.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience programming CMMs with Zeiss/Calypso software.
- Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
- Experience with both teach mode and offline programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to design inspection fixtures is preferred.
- Experience in machining aerospace and semiconductor components is a plus.
Preferences:
- Supervisory or lead experience (1-3 years preferred).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
